Former stonemasons, the Laroche family , has created hundreds of custom-made works of art since 1928. These historical monuments are today the testimony of an unequalled know-how and mastery. Despite the Second World War, which plunged France into enormous turmoil, the Laroche family kept its order book and helped municipalities to rebuild part of their heritage. Antoine Laroche started out as a marble mason in 1928, using stone from Conblanchien in the Côte-d'Or, then white marble from the Eastern Pyrenees to create his first monuments. Then, in 1962, his daughter Agnès Laroche studied Fine Arts in Lyon, devoted herself to sculpture and left to teach the art of granite columns in Sfax, Tunisia. In 1995, their great-granddaughter was born in Paris and devoted herself to the design and architecture of the capital.
